UX (user experience) designer measures and optimises web application to improve ease of use (usability), and create the best user experience by exploring many different approaches to solve end-users’ problems. The main task is to create product that people like and find easy to use. 

Tasks 

- considering the human-computer interaction (HCI) element of a design 

- running user testing of applications, software and websites

- defining interaction models, user task flows, and UI (user interface) specifications

- communicating scenarios (hypothetical users), end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to other people working on a product

- working with the design team to incorporate a visual or brand identity into the finished product

- developing and maintaining design wireframes (basic mock-ups of applications) and specifications

- evaluating the UX effectiveness

Skill set

- knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS (jQuery) is a plus

- good knowledge of UX and trends

- experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or skills in Sketch, proto.io, Invision, or other prototype tools

- ability to think creatively

- strong problem solving ability

- team player who can adapt to new situations

- working experience with Visual Studio and Scrum methodology is a plus
